Buggy Foam Tire Midwest Modified Class Rules
(This is a new class & rules may be adjusted at any time throughout the race season as needed)
• CHASSIS: Any buggy based kit allowed. No purpose built dirt oval cars allowed (GFRP, Custom Works, Velocity, etc.) No offset or carbon fiber replacement chassis allowed. Battery MUST remain in stock locations from the manufacturer. Adjustable rear a-arms are allowed. Maximum of 3° left side toe-in allowed & maximum of 3° right side toe-out is allowed.
• ESC/MOTOR: Hobbywing 13.5 Justock combo kit.
• BATTERY: Any 2s (2 cell) hard pack LiPo battery, NO soft packs. Battery MUST remain in stock locations. All batteries MUST be charged in a Lipo Sack. Batteries should not exceed 8.44 volts, will be checked with volt meter. No heating pads or devices for batteries.
• TIRES: ONLY BSR 2.4 tires allowed. Any foam compound offered by BSR for the 2.4 wheel is legal. Truing & grooving is allowed. No mixing of front & rear rims. Front rims on the front, rear rims on the rear.
This class will use the BSR Racing 2.4 Buggy Oval Offroad 12mm Hex Wheel Front Foam Tires (1/10 Scale) and BSR Racing 2.4 Buggy Oval Offroad 12mm Hex Wheel Rear Foam Tires (1/10 Scale)
Preferred compounds are Orange BSR-C6023 / BSR-C6024 and Green BSR-C6027 / BSR-C6028
