Custom Works RC NEW Rocket 5.1 Latemodel / MWM Car Kit, CW-0717

This kit is designed for use on High Bite or Loose Dirt tracks that typically use 2.2″ buggy rubber tires. Options parts are included with the kit to optimize it for either type of surface. Designed for use with latemodel and open wheel mod bodies. It will come with both laydown and standup transmission cases as well as the parts needed for bellcrank or front servo mounting locations.

Based off of several generations of Championship winning Rocket chassis’ the all new Rocket 5.1 is our first hybrid chassis kit offering all the needed options for both high bite and loose dirt rubber tire tracks all in one box. The new kit comes with several improvements to optimize it for high bite racing surfaces where 2.2 style buggy tires are used while still retaining all the necessary pieces for tracks with less grip where rear bite is at a premium.

Some of those new improvements include:
- New Carbon Chassis Plate with greater offset and toe options
- New Carbon Front and Rear Towers with optimized shock positions
- Laydown and Standup Transmission cases and motor mount included
- New V2 Top Shaft with Tri-mount Spur Hub
- Option for Front-mounted servo location or Dual Bellcrank steering both included in kit.
- Carbon Steering Extenders for wider tires
- Trailing Front Spindles

Also Included as with all other previous kits are:
- Custom Works patented Adjustable Toe Rear Arms
- Titanium Turnbuckles throughout
- Full Ball Bearings
- 2.6 Ball Differential
- CW MDX Big Bore Shocks on all 4 corners

*Note: Not all hardware is metric yet but many of the key components are now which include the front and rear suspension mounts. With this change the 3mm screws will use a larger 2mm hex wrench which will make installation and removal of the screws much easier then with the 1/16″ wrench in the past.
