17.5 DD Roar Sprint Foam Tire Class

• MOTOR: Any Roar approved 17.5 motor, approved as of January 1, 2025. 
Secondary motor option will be the Hobbywing 13.5 Justock Motor HWI-30408010. The Hobbywing motors will be teched and sealed up, same as the Reedy Spec motors. We are doing this as a cheaper option due to the ongoing Roar rule updates. We have done a lot of testing and motors are very comparable in speed and lap times. These rules remain in affect until the Spring of 2026. At that point we will re-evaluate the rules and make appropriate changes at that time for the following season.

• GENERAL: Follow DODC body rules ( can be seen here... https://dirtoval.com/Rules ).

• BATTERY: any hard case 2s lipo. All batteries MUST be charged in a Lipo Sack. Batteries should not exceed 8.44 volts, will be checked with volt meter. No heating pads or devices for batteries.

• BODY: Sprint car body must resemble a real sprint car, top wing 6x6, front wing 2x4.

• ESC: Any censored ESC that is in blinky mode.

• TIRES: Open foam tires. NO BSR or Custom Works Silver Tires.

• WEIGHT: 3Lbs. 7oz. OR 55oz.
